Share Your Insights & Inspire Translators Worldwide
At Translators’ Journal (TJ), we believe that translation is more than just a profession—it’s a craft, a journey, and a calling. We are building a global community where translators can learn, grow, and thrive.
If you have valuable experiences, insights, or lessons that can empower and guide fellow translators, we invite you to contribute as a guest author. Your words can inspire someone to take the next big step in their translation career.
What We’re Looking For
We accept original, insightful, and practical articles that help translators:
- Master the Craft – Deep dives into translation techniques, localization strategies, and language nuances.
- Grow Their Business – Marketing, client management, pricing strategies, and scaling a freelance career.
- Navigate Challenges – Overcoming self-doubt, handling difficult clients, and staying motivated.
- Leverage Technology – Smart use of CAT tools, AI, and automation while preserving human creativity.
- Find Their Unique Path – Specializing, niching down, or transitioning from freelancing to entrepreneurship.
- Inspire & Lead – Personal success stories, lessons learned, and thought-provoking industry perspectives.
What We Don’t Accept
TJ is a mentorship-driven platform, not a content farm. We do not accept:
- Generic, surface-level content without depth or originality.
- AI-generated or plagiarized articles.
- Self-promotional or purely commercial pieces.
- Unedited drafts that lack clarity or structure.
- Overly technical or academic papers (keep it engaging and practical).
Writing Guidelines – Crafting Your Best Piece
- Write with Purpose – Your article should educate, inspire, or guide fellow translators.
- Keep It Relatable – Share real experiences, personal stories, or practical takeaways.
- Make It Engaging – Use clear language, bullet points, and headings for easy reading.
- Focus on Impact – By the end of the article, readers should feel empowered to take action.
- Be Respectful & Ethical – Cite sources, respect confidentiality, and write with integrity.
